A lysergamide derivative with an ergoline backbone, 1D-LSD is an LSD prodrug and 1V-LSD analogue. Given that it is an LSD prodrug, it likely shares many psychedelic characteristics with LSD-25 as well as other LSD prodrugs such as 1cP-LSD and 1P-LSD, also likely sharing a similar mechanism of action. A prodrug is essentially an inactive compound that becomes active upon ingestion due to chemical reactions through metabolisation.
1D-LSD is a novel lysergamide that is commonly sold as a legal alternative to LSD-25. It is a presumed prodrug of LSD, which means it is thought to be converted into LSD-25 by the human body upon ingestion. Don’t forget to check out our Ultimate Guide on 1D-LSD for more information.
As far as our research has shown, the effects of 1D-LSD are very similar to 1V-LSD, 1cP-LSD and LSD-25. There is as of yet no consensus, and that is for the individual researcher to discover!
