What is 4-HO-MET?
4-Hydroxy-N-methyl-N-ethyltryptamine, or 4-HO-MET, is a novel psychedelic substance of the Tryptamine class.
4-HO-MET is chemically related to psilocin, the active ingredient in psilocybin mushrooms (“magic mushrooms”). It was first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin, who documented it in his 1997 book “TiHKAL” (“Tryptamines I Have Known and Loved”).

What are the Effects of 4-HO-MET?

Very nice experience. As I expected it behaves for me as a more visual version of 4-HO-DMT (Psilocin) with a similar length and with less head space. My initial research with 10 mg was fine for a social environment. The subsequent testing with 20 mg showed me to true potential. I can suggest the substance in a quiet environment as a colorful experience though somehow lackluster in respect to introspection or as an “add-on” to other chemicals to make the experience more visual. I will definitely recommend this substance to fellow researchers.

Bought our first 4-HO-MET here at CC a long time ago and several times since. It quickly became one of our favorite tryptamines to research.
To me it’s kinda like acid and shrooms had a baby together. Best of both worlds, but also very unique.
Pellet form makes dosing easier, because of its potency.
Even 5 mg is noticable, but depending on the intention one may prefer 10-20 or even 30 mg.
50 mg is also recommended, although only for experienced researchers. And in that case, powder + a proper scale is a cheaper solution.
But these Lizard Labs pellets never disappoint.
