Mexicana is a less potent magic truffle and therefore are very suitable for beginners! With Mexicana truffles you can expect less visuals, however they do provide a warm, giggly feeling with users reporting a huge increase in creativity- sometimes you just want a nice time without being launched into outer space!
The Mexicana species has been known by the indigenous people of South America as ‘Flesh of the Gods’ for thousands of years, and was only introduced to the Western population when Albert Hofman identified the active compound, Psilocybin, in 1957. The cultivation of magic mushrooms and truffles as we know it today all started with Psilocybe Mexicana!

What Are Mexicana Magic Truffles
Mexicana Magic Truffles are naturally occurring psychedelic fungi, derived from the same organism as, you guessed it, magic mushrooms. Magic Truffles are essentially dense mycelial masses, known as sclerotia. These sclerotia grow underground beneath the mushroom, acting as a food reserve. Like magic mushrooms, magic truffles contain the active chemical Psilocybin, which is what gives it its psychedelic properties.
The Importance Of Set & Setting
Set and setting is a commonly understood term among psychonauts, but it’s hard to understate the importance of this when embarking on a psychedelic journey.
Set refers to the state of mind you’re in prior to the experience; we recommend making sure you’re well slept, generally in a good mood and to consider doing things like meditation or journaling beforehand to clear your mind, ready for whatever might come up.
Setting is your physical surroundings; make sure you’re in a cozy, familiar space with people that you trust. This will make all the difference in how you perceive the space around you. We recommend having a cultivated tripping playlist, either made by you or you can choose from our recommended psilocybin mixes– this will help set the tone for the perfect mushy experience.

Bonjour Quentin, je suis désolé d’apprendre que vous ayez eu une expérience négative avec ceux-ci. Il convient de garder à l’esprit qu’il existe de nombreuses interactions potentielles avec la psilocybine qui peuvent annuler ses effets – les SSRI et d’autres médicaments, par exemple. Il existe également une tolérance très rapide et forte à la psilocybine, au LSD et autres, vous devez donc attendre au moins quelques semaines à un mois entre les deux pour revenir au niveau de base. Tous mes vœux.
