4-PrO-MET; the Tryptamine that’s taking the research chemical industry by storm!
4-PrO-MET (4-propionyloxy-N-methyl-N-ethyltryptamine) is the O-propionyl ester of 4-HO-MET, meaning it converts to 4-HO-MET under certain conditions with results nearing virtually identical. .
Both 4-Pro-MET and 4-HO-MET are chemically related to psilocin, the active ingredient in psilocybin mushrooms (“magic mushrooms”). While 4-HO-MET has long been a research favourite, 4-Pro-MET is new on the market and available to a wider range of researchers (we’re talking you, Germany!).

4-PRO-MET is a novel psychedelic in the tryptamine class that is currently legal to buy in Germany as well as many other European countries.
4-PRO-MET Effects
There is limited research available on 4-PrO-MET, with most information coming from anecdotal reports and independent studies. Due to it being the prodrug of 4-HO-MET, results will likely be extremely similar however it is reported to have a slightly longer onset and duration.

- Increased abstract and conceptual thinking

- Increased salivation
- Temperature regulation suppression
